4 piece plant based waffles
8 piece Delight Vegan Chicken Drumstick
2 cup plant-based milk
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup corn flakes
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Vegetable oil for deep flying
Toast waffle according packaging instructions.
Whisk the plant-based milk with apple cider vinegar, add Delight Vegan Chicken Drumstick to the bowl, making sure it is covered in the batter and let it marinate about 10 mins.
Heat a pot of vegetable oil to 350F.
In a mixing bowl whisk together dry ingredients. Take each Delight Chicken Drumstick from the batter and dredge into the seasoned flour. Thoroughly coat the Delight Chicken Drumstick all over, then let rest on a plate for 5 mins before frying.
Fry the Delight Chicken Drumstick in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 mins.
Carefully take the Delight Chicken Drumstick out of the oil and place them on side. Repeat until all the Delight Chicken Drumstick are fried.
Serve the Delight Chicken Drumstick on top of the waffles, then drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy!
Attention: Delight Chicken Drumstick has bamboo stick inside, do not eat it.
